Do You Scream For It??

-------------------------------------------

The other night I was with my friend Anabelle and we were waiting for a response from Chynna our other friend to see if we were going to hang out that night. I finally decided that we would just drive up the direction toward her house and maybe on the way there she would answer. She didn't so we knocked on the door and Chynna answered. After talking to her dad for a couple of minutes we were on our way, and Anabelle wanted to head toward Norterra and walk around the shops there. As we drove up I could tell the shops were closed by the sheer fact that there were about twenty cars in the parking lot. So we decided to go across the street to the Happy Valley Center, and that was when Anabelle spotted Cold Stone and remembered she had a gift card. So Anabelle said she would buy with the gift card, but Chynna is on a no sugar kick so she didn't want anything. I got a mint chocolate chip milkshake and Anabelle got a cup with half mint and coffee. Then we proceeded to drive back to Chynna's house with the windows down and music blaring. These are the types of thing I love most about the summer unplanned but awesome nights with your friends.

Third time is a Charm!

-------------------------------------------------------

So today I flew home from Texas today well now I guess it was yesterday, but that's besides the point. Every time I have flown back from Texas by myself the planes have always been delayed. This sucks because I am stuck in the DFW airport for an extended time by myself and there is nothing to do in the lame place. Example: last year I had a three hour delay and then last minute they switched up the gate and we all had to go all the way to the other side of the airport and those of you who have seen or been in the Dallas Fort Worth airport know that it is gigantic so I had like ten minutes to get from one side of the airport to the other and needless to say I made it but I walked up just as the last couple of passengers were boarding so I was lucky.

This most recent trip on the other hand was drastically different. I was at the airport about an hour and a half early so I had time to relax before I got on the plane, and then I was in zone 2 which was nice to board relatively sooner than the other passengers. My seat was one row away from first class so I was very close to the front which meant I would get off the plane very fast, and then to top it off the only open seat on the plane was between me and some bald business man, so I might as well have been in first class it was so awesome. Now I will always look back on this trip as one of the luckiest trips I have ever taken and probably will ever take.
